Ok, ya know the tv shows when a cat or a dog rescues the whole family, by waking everyone up because of smoke or fire. Well Dean (light sleeper) woke up to a house full of smoke, and Me, Alex, 7-up the cat, and Josie the dog, were all sound asleep. Dean said smoke was billering out of the stove, and this is what he found. Burnt cookies!! Dean and I went to bed, and Alex decided to bake cookies, and then fell asleep on the couch!! WE COULD HAVE DIED!! Cat and Dog did not care!! Well, the cat is 14 and the dog 10 so what do we expect!! Cookies any one!!

You should probably send Al to cooking school or get him to go to bed earlier.
So glad you guys were not burned up to look like the cookies.
Get smoke alarm, my guard dogs bark and bark when someone comes to the house then run out the doggie door to save themsleves. They won't make the paper as saving someone either.
I'm glad you are alive! I bet your house smells really good!
